Annual General Meeting
The AGM will be held this coming Saturday 25th of August at 11am in the clubhouse. We hope to see as many of you there as possible.
Don’t forget our shared lunch following the meeting.

Spring is just around the corner.
As we move into September it is time to start thinking about planting vegies for your spring and summer crops.

You can begin planting seeds for many crops in the hothouse now.

These include: beans, corn, cucumber, eggplant, pumpkin, tomato and zucchini.
Year Rounders: Beetroot, broccoli, carrot, lettuce, radish, turnip, lettuces and other leafy greens.

Soil Preparation
Preparing your beds is very important, especially if your soil is very sandy or has become water-repellent. A good idea is to add some compost well before you are ready to transplant seedlings.

Happy gardening, Sandra Freeman!
